Music Shops in Bath

Here at Guitar Lessons Bath, we love nothing more than a good guitar shop. You will be pleased to know that we have some awesome guitar shops in and around Bath and here is a low down of them all.

Vintage are Rare Guitars

Vintage are Rare Guitars is a fantastic local guitar and music store, located at 11 Queen Street, Bath, BA1 1HE. They offer the very best in vintage guitars, amplifiers and pedals and have catered for some rather famous guitarists and bands in their time! Vintage and Rare Guitars Shop in Bath These include Pete Doherty (The Libertines), Fran Healy (Travis) and Nicholas Cage (you know him off the silver screen). It also caters for everything at the lower end of the price range, it is a wonderful and quirky guitar shop to check out! (TEL: 01225 463 777)

Sounds International

Sounds International is a more general music shop, that is nonetheless packed with guitar equipment. While it is perhaps not a comprehensive as Vintage and Rare Guitars of Bath it offers a good range of guitars. Originally established by Roy and Julie Rawles in 1978 the shop boasts one very momentous visit from Jim Marshall – the ‘Father of Loud’ and creator of Marshall Amplifiers. All I can say is that if it’s good enough for Jim Marshall then it is certainly good enough for us at Guitar Lessons Bath. (Could do with a few more guitars though!) Sounds International is located at Monmouth Place, Bath, BA1 2AT. (TEL: 01225 335154)

Sharps and Flats of Bath

Sharps and Flats of Bath, located at 3 Orange Grove, Bath, BA1 1LP, is more of a music gift shop rather than a guitar specialist – if you want a nice music related present for a niece then go for it! Otherwise, check the above our first. (TEL: 01225 469655)
